"The Core of me" Series
This collection explores the different core values in my life, such as, Self-reflection, Materiality and Relationships. I believe it’s important for one to understand more about
themselves, things or people that make them comfortable. Through this collection, I aim to inspire my audience to think more in depth about their own beliefs and self-reflection.

Independent Artworks
I love to explore different mediums such as Tufting, Acrylic painting, Lino cut, woodblock and screen printing. As a painter and printmaker I have explored how different mediums convey different themes from my culture, nature around me, pattern making, repetition, and even paintings inspired from my least favorite songs!

Artist Statement
I believe what led me to become an artist is my strong-willed personality and the often adamant drive for things to go my way, therefore, being an artist allowed me to get my way. My artistic practice explores my personality, beliefs and personal issues I face in my life, in a conventional Indian household. This is often reflected through female characters inspired from Indian Mughal miniatures, which helps me feel a re-connection to my culture, something I often feel distant from. As I gravitate towards my culture, I work with traditional mediums such as acrylic painting on wood, screen printing and tufting with wool. Through these mediums, I incorporate
elements of nature, female features, floral motifs, and work with vibrant colors. My paintings are often magnified, to create an ever-lasting impression on viewers.
Through my work, I aim to inspire my audience to think more in depth about their own beliefs and self-reflection.
